hi all
im new hear but not to wiring up amps and speakers.
i brought the pv2600 amp and when i plugged it in all seemed fine. lights all come on , fan spins ect. now for the problem.
it doesnt seem to matter what input option i choose the outcome is always the same. set the in nuilt x over to x150 on either channel and i get the correct signal but extremely quiet like almost no existant. turn it back to high and i get full range and its much louder but still way too quiet for what the amp is capable of.
ive tried switching speakers. ive tried using the bare wire posts and speakon connectors. ive tried it in bridge mode.
im getting the signal lights coming on only when volume knobs are turned up half way or more.
not getting any ddt lights at all.
volume is always the same levels no matter what i do
pv2600 appears to work but output is way too low

what are you using for input signal to the amp?

Yeah, like are you inputting signal from a mixer or from something like an iPhone with an adapter cable? Anything less than a mixer output won't likely have enough boost to give a loud output.

Re: pv2600 appears to work but output is way too low
You need to feed the amplifier the proper current. If the amplifier does not get enough current, it will deliver a very low output. This question comes up numerous times. The PV 2600 requires a 20-Amp Circuit to perform properly.
