I've searched the forum and read everything I could, but I haven't seen an explicit answer to my question. Looking for some help...
Why does the Peavey 50/50 have two jacks in parallel for each speaker output channel? and how do the speaker output channel jacks operate in mono mode?
For example, if I select mono mode, and I have a 2x12 cabinet in series with an 8ohm load... I would only need to use one output jack on the 50/50. Is that producing 100 watts?
On the other hand, if I select mono mode and I have two 2x12 cabinets (each 8ohms), for a 4ohm total load... and hook each cab up to one of the output jacks, are they getting 50 watts each?
