Hello everybody from Italy.
I am a proud owner of a Heritage VTX 212 guitar amp.
Too bad few days ago I turned on the amp, and both red lights on lead and normal front panel turned on and it was no sound at all.
The power light turns on as the green one, I can hear the "bump" of the speakers, and the valves are all working.
Can anyone please help?
Is it possible to find somewere the electric diagram of this amp?
Best regards and thanks to all the people who will help!!
Gian Marco
VTX 212 trouble
Re: VTX 212 trouble
You can get any Peavey schematic from customer service at Peavey, but I attached it below.
Plug guitar into the power amp in jack, do you get sound? That tests the power amp. Plug a cord from preamp out to power amp in, sound return?
Turn reverb half way up, and shake the amp, do you hear the spring crash sound?

Re: VTX 212 trouble
Thank you very much for the diagram and for helping !!!
If I shake the amp I got something like a roar.... is this the spring crash sound??
If I plug the guitar into the high gain/low gain input I have no sound, but if I plug the guitar to the preamp out jack I can hear the sound............
