I think I've done this before, but I'll just post the instructions here.

However, if you damage your mixer by attempting this repair, you will void your warranty. I'm kind of assuming most of these are older (and probably out of warranty), since the fix has been in our production mixers for several years now.

If C93 is already a 100uF cap, then you do not need to apply the modification.

The added cap is a 47uF@35V general purpose cap.

found it easier to put really thin flying leads on the resistors, then add the additional resistor to these leads- cap is not a prob- all working great after the fix

OMG, this is my biggest night mare I am trying to avoid happening.
Does this happen to you at any certain volume level ?

Why Peavey don´t publish Jim H´s solution in your site?

In USA, it´s easy to fix with Peavey.

In Brazil and others country´s, it´s so so so dificultty.

not with mine- very low or high-it just cut out
but the fix sorts it out

Thanks to Jim H for the instructions on fixing the 24fx I'm in the UK could anybody point me in the right direction to acquire the Resistor P?N 30200126 and the Capacitor P/N 30320344.

I have this problem on an FX16...need to know fix or where closest service center is (in Ontario, Canada) from Sault Ste. Marie, ON

I am a new user and therefore, am unable to message you. Would you please PM me the fix for the 24fx? We at my church are experiencing the FOH loss also. I am quite handy with a soldering iron. Thank you in advance.
