MP 400

Post by bigcountry » Mon Aug 07, 2017 1:01 am

Newbie here.

I picked up a MP 400 for cheap the guy couldn't get it to turn on.

I got it home and it needed a fuse. New fuse and it turns on.

Plugged speakers in the rear started to buzz at first but now now sound.

I plug a speaker into the the main output in the front, works just fine.

I opened up the cabinet and there is a little bit of a burnt smell, but I don't seen anything burnt upon initial inspection.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Update, found a cooked resistor, and a couple transistors that may need replaced. Any suggestion on a schematic or something to help identify parts so I can get proper replacement?
