I have the power split between the mains and the monitor channel. When my main amp volume is turned down to zero, the monitor has no effects...and it’s not because the EFX defeat is turned on. As soon as I turn up the main volume just the tiniest little bit, then the effects kick in on the monitors. Is this a known defect?

What knob are you using to turn down the main amp?

To get effects in the monitors, the channel EFX send, channel monitor level and the channel level must be turned up. If the channel level is not turned up, there is no signal going from that channel to the EFX module.
