Network Connectivity Issues with New DR16

Hey Guys.
I just got my new Unity DR16 and was very much hoping that it would be relatively easy to have it working at a very basic level (I/O only).
Unfortunately, when I tried the app on my Windows 10 laptop, it wouldn't connect to the DR16 unit. I also installed the IOS app on my iPad Pro 12.9 (2nd Gen), but this one was in a seemingly infinite loop of saying that my connection had been lost and that it would re-try in 6 seconds. Kind of reminded me of a Star Trek episode.
I realize that at this point my chances are slim to none to get working for this weekend's gig, but perhaps we can shoot for next weekend?
I just need assistance to determine if this is one of those situations where I have to return the unit for another one, or can it be fixed?
