Pedalboard noise with 6505+ head

Post by Shredkev » Tue Jan 31, 2017 5:40 pm

Hi. I've had a boss bcb 60 pedalboard for a little while now and get some hum from the amp when it's on and can't fathom how best to eliminate it. My setup atm is guitar into boss ns2 and into 6505+ head......then loop send into boss eq > boss chorus > boss dd3> tc electronics hall of fame reverb > loop return. So the noise suppressor is in front of amp and the fx have no noise suppressor. Will I need another ns2 for the loop or will this 4 cable method I've heard about as I tried this on a smaller amp and found it didn't do much? I switch on the loop as a solo boost with delay reverb etc. Thanks for any help

adding some filter capacitors to the power supply often helps...
