PV-1 wireless

Post by Nicksummers1 » Wed Oct 05, 2016 10:59 am

I recently purchased 3 brand new in the box PV-1 wireless systems. Hand held mic version that require 9volt. Seems I can't run 3 at the same time. Is there something I'm missing? Do I need to return one and find a unit with a different frequency? Thanks for the help!

Each mic must be on a different frequency. If you try to operate two mics simultaneously on one frequency, there will be horrible squealing and screeching sounds. At least, that's what happened to me when I accidentally did it several years ago. According to the website, each model is available in three different frequencies.

That's what I figured, was just unclear if they offered them in multiple frequencies. That's my next job. Contact Peavey for an alternate unit. They're pretty good about that stuff. Thanks again!
