Excellent idea! A simple footswitch that doesn't require awkward tap dancing is exactly what I need.

djcdude95... what you think can my wiring work? it dont needed grounding? i will make unplugging FS for Vypyr 15. :wink:

i didnt need any grounding, as long as all the wires arent shorting out, all should work. i would add a plug so u could to unplug it. i have since sold my 15 and got a 75w with the Sanpera 2.

I know this is an older post, but it inspired me to do something similar (see photos).

Note that all in-amp switches are grounded on one side, which means that separate return lines for each switch are not needed. Only one return (ground) wire is needed, so with six switches (I added the TAP switch) there will be 7 wires total. This fits within 8-pin Ethernet couplers and cable for wiring (CAT5e or 6). It is relatively easy to use Keystone RJ45 adapters/couplers to join the wiring between inside the amp and inside the footswitch using standard Ethernet cable.

Looks great! I'm glad 4 years later this still is relevant to the masses. :lol:
