Sage advice, thanks. If I went with the glass window I intended to generously vent the top and leave the back wide-open - but I'm likely asking for trouble, given that the tubes are all right up at the front instead of the back of the chassis where they're usually found.

There's always fan cooling: I have an unused 6.3V, 5 amp tap.... heh

I did some experimenting with glass etching cream from Michaels; I'm surprised by the result

Looks like etched glass to me. Finishing touch! Cream, eh? They've been bustin' up glass for decades! This cream will probably take the chrome off yer bumpers.

Yessir, have been playing daily. Working hard on the finer points of technique and tempo. Plan is to play with the Mississippi Blues Society. Maybe soon, even. Trying to convince my buddy, who is 10,000 X the guitarist that I'll ever be, to do it with me. So far, no joy. Maybe I'll have to blackmail him

Oh, and, I, uh... er... bought another Vypyr to dink around with: Have added the V75 to the collection. It's a disease. Nano, 15, and 100 to go....

Had a great CD release party. My old band played with a few additions, and we killed it. We havent gigged in about 4 years, but we sounded like we played a gig last weekend. You can see some of it on my facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/bob.ring.10

Picked up a nano recently, just bought a new guitar too. You'll like the 75, good ss amp IMHO. Wont rattle molars like the Tube 120 or 60, but for SS a thumbs up.

I like the 75 a lot already. I think I might put it in the head that I built for the 30, and then convert the 30 to a small(ish) cube or something.

It keeps me busy, and momma ain't complaining yet (tho' she wasn't home when I strolled in with the '75. Don't ask/don't tell (grin))
