Need a DSP board

Post by Rumblebox1 » Sat Feb 25, 2017 10:53 pm

I dug my old Vypyr 15 out of storage to chop down the enclosure and convert it to a head, which worked well..... except i smacked the DSP board with the drill bit when i was installing the output jack on the chassis. I dislodged the C72 220uF cap and ripped the legs off it in the process. I ordered a replacement cap, but I'd like to see if i can get a board if this doesnt work.

Last I checked (given that Peavey still has boards) the boards were 100 plus bucks form Peavey. Your best bet would be to pickup another 15 for 40 to 50 bucks.
 Peavey HP Special FT in Blue Moon Burst, Vypyr 30 with Effects Loop, Zoom G5, Vypyr Pro 100.

You can get a new board, but it is cheaper to buy another Vypyr 15.

So i replaced the cap with one of equal value, and the preamp on each model is still weak. About half the gain as they should have.
