firmware

i got a vypyr 2 used today do i need to install the firmware so my PC will recognize it Via the USB port? . If so what firmware is needed ?

Best way to check is to hook it up via usb cable and see if she works. If not visit the Peavy web site and download the firmware from there. Good luck and enjoy.

There is only one firmware update, so if you got it used There is a good chance it is already updated. You can check this by holding buttons A and D on power up. The code will show 3 times. watch the LED's on the stump encoder. If they come on 1 LED then 6 LED's then finely 2 LED's, your firmware is up to date.
