Crackling noise

So I just go my AmpKit and no matter what I do when I play I get a bad crackling noise. The only way it goes away is if I turn my iphone volume way down. What fun is a quiet guitar? Anyone else have this problem? If so how can I fix this?

My cracking noise went away after exchanging the cable to the guitar.

Check all cables for defects in your setup.

Was a bit frustrated. Turns out the noisegate pedal was the culprit
It caused all sounds of wierdness. Not sure why it's there but if I don't use it I get much better results. Cheers for the help Bradley.
