Same story as others - not working

I purchased the AMPKit Link in December of 2010. I had problems getting my guitar to register any sound in the AMPkit program itself. I have tried three separate guitars (one is brand new), several different ¼ cables and several sets of headphones.

When I mess with the volume knob on my guitar the meter’s bounce all over. Same deal when I wiggle the cables. I still get no sound in my headphones.

I have an Ipod Touch Second Generation that is currently running OS4. Not sure if that helps at all.

Please help me! Thanks!
