Greetings,
I want to hook up the AmpKit LInk input to the recording output of my Peavey XR8600 mixer. Any issues with impedance matching?
Reason for questions
I have a TRSS cable (3 RCA to 1/8"), but the iphone application does not recognize the output from the mixer (yellow - mic input, red & white right & left outputs). Apparently, if the signal is not sufficiently attenuated, it defaults to using the built in microphone.
Any comments or suggestions would be welcomed. The AmpKit LInk looks like a good solution if it works
BTW - the correct impedance cable is ~$25.
Cheers,
JMA
Impedance match?
The AmpKit LiNK audio interface raises the audio fidelity bar for the iPhone platform. AmpKit LiNK is an iPhone, iPod touch* and iPad interface for electric guitar, bass, or any line level source, with an output that can be connected to headphones, powered speakers or a PA.
