Dude, get Amplitube, they just released a Slash approved set-up...Last night was the first chance I had to play around with it...to be blunt, it's the best sounding amp out of the bunch, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm even going to run my iPad into Logic specifically to use those amps, there are two!

I actually tried it, unfortunately in amplitube there is always annoying static noise i can't get rid without ruining the sound

I use the Peavey Ampkit link, not the iRig for that very reason...don't distort it too much with the boost or distortion pedals, add the noise gate, a little reverb and you'll be good, works for me.
