I have a problem with Revalver 4. I have a personal folder and i save all my personal presets .....I save all and close the program but when i open the program I have the presets with the knoobs input and output moved. ...the parameters of the pedals....amp....etc...perfect..but I have a problem with the knoobs input and output.
I think that can I do save all because when I open a preset the knoobs change.
And the gig mode the same....
my question is....there are a way to save "all preset" wit the gains?
Thanks

Re: Problem when I save the knoobs of input and output gain
I don't think that the knobs (for input and output) save.
Re: Problem when I save the knoobs of input and output gain
I think it's possible to save the input gain by using the "Save Default" button on the left most panel of the input adjustment tools.
As far as I can tell this is not preset specific though, it's a global setting.
I hope that makes sense..
I haven't found a way to save the output tools settings.
I'd REALLY like Peavey to add this ability or explain how to do it if it's already there.
Lately I've been experimenting with running the output from Revalver into a Zoom G3 via USB. The Zoom output is connected to the effects loop return of my Valveking 212. This lets me use the power amp of the Valveking but the drawback is the VK is not a master volume amp so I have to be real careful when switching presets in Revalver. On some I have to set the output gain to 5db to get a good volume from the VK, but others with higher gain amps need to have it cranked down to -25db. This assumes I don't adjust the output settings of the Zoom, which I try to avoid.
Ultimately it would be very useful to have the option to save both the input and output setups as part of a preset and independent of the presets.
My thinking here is the input gain is more guitar dependent but the output gain is more related to gear setup in the preset.
So, what about it Peavey, is this funcitonality something that will be added in the future?

Re: Problem when I save the knoobs of input and output gain
The "save default" button is for the pickup RMS, not the input.
And when i save a preset the value of the input button, the output button and the rms value gets saved in that preset.
Need more info from OP about OS/DAW/etc.

Re: Problem when I save the knoobs of input and output gain
Thanks for the clarification Lain.
I'm going to have to try saving one of the presets I've been messing with after adjusting the settings for the input/output gain.
See if I can create a set of presets that work well with my setup.

You gotta make sure that you save your presets in a bank that you made yourself.
Re: Problem when I save the knoobs of input and output gain
Yep, I independently stumbled across that requirement last night.Lain wrote:You gotta make sure that you save your presets in a bank that you made yourself.
The input and output gain and other settings are indeed saved with the preset if you save it into a new bank.
It appears the only thing that isn't is the pickup RMS setting.
I'm not sure how critical that setting is, I measured 3 of my guitars last night (2 had humbuckers, 1 had single coils) with an oscilloscope.
The humbuckers ranged from ~600mV to ~1000mV, the single coils ranged from ~200mV up ~350mV.
All of them sound fine through Revalver and I didn't notice much difference when I adjusted the pickup RMS to match the guitar.
I can see how it might help if the pickups are either real weak or very hot.

The RMS value gets saved too.
Re: Problem when I save the knoobs of input and output gain
Hi, i have the same problem, don't save any change made in the output mixer, anyone have a solution for this?, thank you very much.
Re: Problem when I save the knoobs of input and output gain
The solution for this problem is download and install the last version of Revalver, that's all.
