They are released to production, so now. No idea yet what the lead time will be, I guess that depends on demand.PVplayer wrote:When can we order?

How do we increase the demand before ordering? Will there be a pre sale, factory direct, or special dealers involved?Roger Crimm wrote:They are released to production, so now. No idea yet what the lead time will be, I guess that depends on demand.PVplayer wrote:When can we order?

The best way to increase demand? Buy them! Consumers vote with their wallets!PVplayer wrote:

We have them in production and are taking orders now from most any Peavey dealer. Shipping looks to be in 3 to 5 weeks on the initial run. You may want to move on it if you want one soon. We took 12 to the NAMM show and they all sold within 45 minutes on opening day...
FYI, these are being built by Tim Litchfield and his team, right here in Meridian. If you recall, Tim ran the custom shop back in the day. We would like nothing better than to have these take off, good things could happen...

Any word on when non maple fretboards will be available?
Re: Go to peaveys website see hp2
Hi guys. I'm really excited about the HP2. I have had several customs wolfs, and I wish I still had them.
Last week myself and two of my closest friends peer pressured each other into a triple order. 2 deep oceans and 1 white. We can't wait!
We are also anxious to see the custom shop reopen. Remember, you could get dice on your fretboard. Oh man, I am excited.

Amazed that Peavey would choose to resurrect its USA guitar program -- however limited -- with this particular style instrument, given that its former endorser is currently offering the exact same thing from FMIC (in various configurations and at a variety of price points); would much rather Peavey had rebooted that guitar's improved successor -- the incredible HP Special -- an original design not tied to the comings and goings or whims of any particular artist, and a fitting tribute to the company's founder. Oh, well...
