i now have a Vypyr Pro, VIP 1 (got for $50), a VIP2 ($75), and a Vypyr 30 ($30!).

its starting to get like Pokemons. LOL

i'll probably sell the VIP1.

:o Congrats on the score!

Does the 30 use the same speaker as in the VIP 2?

How does the Pros speaker compare to the VIP 2?

Imo, (only played and own the VIP 2) the VIP speaker really makes this amp. I've been contemplating scooping up some
VIP 2s just for the speakers to put in a 4x12 cab. Your score for $75. is not a bad price for a speaker.

didn't even get to mess with it for more than 20 minutes ... i played it a little and updated the software while i was getting ready for work.

not sure about the speaker. i'm sure the VIP's speaker is different than the 30 due to the fact the VIP is designed to have a bass played through it, too. the Pro's speaker works great in the Pro. not going to swap them, the VIP2 is just gonna be my "gameroom" amp.

did you contact Peavey parts dept. to see how much they'd sell the VIP2 speaker for?
