Yeup......Me

I own one and it's excellent w/Bandit(s)

Personally prefer using it with my TransTube Amps

With my C30's -------> I love tone and performance C30 pre-amp

Cool way to go with two amps

I'm not sure i understand correctly your question.

Here 2 answers. Hope one of those are correct.

First answer

Left input : High gain
Right input : Low gain

Image

Second answer

2 inputs Amp to cab
( you can see the 2 inputs 1/4 jack )

High Gain / Low Gain.......

Not correct application for pedal with Left and Right Channels.

Max 100 works best with two separate amps.

What do you have to use as Amp #2 ?

Just to be sure you understand my second answer, i will add a 212 cab to my Peavey Stereo Chorus 212.

I will remove the 2 existings 4 ohms speakers and buy four 8 ohms speakers (Peavey Scorpion® SP-12825 8 Ohm)
I will link each side in parallele.

Please understand amp is MONO.......

It is not true stereo with Left Channel and Right Channel.

Max 100 able to send Left Channel and Right Channel......

Two separate distinct signals :!:

Best handled by two separate amps.

Power Amp = Mono

"Stereo Chorus" Refers To "Chorus" Effect

Chorus Effect Built-In Versus Separate Pedal

Easy To Confuse Amp For Stereo

It is a TWO channel amp with one channel and speaker being dry and the other being the Chorus effect. Thus "Stereo Chorus".

Agree amp has Wet/Dry capability.

Max 100 equipped with Mono Setting and/or Left / Right Signal Capability.

Plus.......

It has Left / Right "Wet Dry" capability.

Two output Left / Right "Wet Dry" will not be noticeable with amp's one input jack.

Use MONO but you will loose part of the fun of the Max 100.

The Stereo Chorus 212 has two Power Amp inputs on the rear panel. If you wanted to use the Max100 as your pre amp, you could go out the stereo outputs of the Max 100 and directly into the Power Amp inputs. One downside of this is that you can not use the Max100 and the Stereo Chrus 212 preamps at the same time and there is no way to switch between them. It is either the Max100 or the SC.

A few things I do not like about the Max100:

1) No way to completely bypass the unit. This is because the intent was as a Premp, not an effects pedal in front of an amp.
2) No way to completely bypass the DSP and only use the preamp side. You can set the DSP tot no effects, however I can tell the DSP side is still active.
3) The DSP can be a bit on the noisy side. This is true wether or not effects are active.

I have been looking at the unit and am thinking of making a bypass pedal for it using the effects send of the Max100. Basically a couple of switches, LEDs, and patching connectors. This will make the unit easier to use in front of a guitar amp.

I think the Max100 is a nice unit, just a few short comings. For the $50 used price I paid for it, it is worth it.
