Exceptional Tone

The invective.MH faithfully reproduces the beloved signature tones of the original invective.120, in a more compact format. The lead channel features a Boost circuit akin to popular pedal designs, providing expanded sonic flexibility. With (2) EL84 output tubes, (3) 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes, and 20 watts RMS of power, the invective.MH guitar amp mini head shines in the most demanding scenarios.

Take advantage of Peavey's unique Microphone Simulated Direct Interface (MSDI) with XLR and USB output. Send a feed directly from the XLR output to the front-of-house (FOH). Or, flip the speaker defeat switch and silently record directly into your DAW.

Rock or Record Right Out of the Box

The included headphone output and speaker defeat switch provide extra flexibility to rock or record at any time. With selectable impedance levels for external speakers and a convenient, easy-to-transport form factor, the invective.MH is a versatile roadworthy companion.

FAQ

Yes, the invective.MH has the same tight, articulate and aggressive high-gain character as the invective.120. Both were voiced by Misha Mansoor (Periphery) to meet his needs for a modern high-gain metal amp.

In small-format performance applications it may be suitable to play with a drummer, depending on the sensitivity of your speakers. When playing with a loud drummer and higher-wattage guitar and bass amps, additional sound reinforcement would be required.

With the 5W and 1W modes you will be able to experience power tube saturation at slightly lower volume levels. Reducing the wattage allows you to achieve "cranked amp" high-gain tones more easily and with more control.

Yes: you can use the direct output or USB to record whether you have the speaker turned off or not.

Extremely effective. MSDI eliminates the need for a speaker cabinet and mic, sending a studio-quality emulation of a miked 12-inch speaker direct to the sound system or interface.

Three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 power tubes.

T.S.I. alerts you to the status of your tubes and will let you know when a tube is nearing potential failure, so that you can replace it before your next gig. In the event that a tube fails, T.S.I. will automatically protect your amp's circuitry from potential damage.
