USA Songwriting Competiton Rewards with Airplay & $50,000 Grand Prize

Winning songs in the Peavey-sponsored USA Songwriting Competition will receive airplay on the nationally syndicated radio program "Acoustic Café" as well as XM Satellite Radio.Entrants also stand to win a grand prize of over $50,000 in cash and music gear from Peavey, making this the largest prize package for any annual songwriting competition. Entries are currently being accepted for the 11th Annual USA Songwriting Competition, the first songwriting competition to give airplay to the winning songs—giving deserving bands and songwriters the recognition and exposure they deserve. Many USA Songwriting Competition winners in the past have received recording and publishing contracts, as well as having their songs placed in films and on television. Judges include A&R managers from record labels such as Warner, Universal and BMG/SONY Music. Songs may be entered in 15 different categories, including Pop, Rock/Alternative, R&B and Country. The competition is aimed at promoting excellence in the art of songwriting among writers, composers, bands, singer/songwriters and solo artists in an international forum.
