Peavey Rolls Out MAX 300 Bass Amplifier to Retailers Nationwide

Peavey has officially released the MAX 300 bass amplifier by rolling it out to music retailers nationwide. The 300-watt MAX 300 is the most powerful model of the MAX bass amp series created especially for performers. Its thoughtfully designed for portability, flexibility, and sound, with durable yet ultra-lightweight construction that delivers plenty of power and state-of-the-art tonal quality.

Bass players know that bigger doesnt always translate to better sound. Thats why the MAX 300 has a built-in Kosmos-C bass enhancement feature that adds harmonics and subharmonics for maximum tone. Along with a three-band EQ, the combo also offers Overdrive, Contour, Mid-Shift, and Bright switches. Peaveys DDT clip-limiting technology protects the speakers and is great for slapping techniques and other loud-playing scenarios.

Still, a players ability to hear their own bass can be a challenge. With the MAX 300, however, players will hear themselves loud and clear with no need to tilt the amp back. This is thanks to the angled baffle design, which helps direct the sound where needed. Instead of pointing the sound at the players ankles, the speaker is angled up to optimize both the ability to hear and the amps overall projection.

The MAX 300 also enables players to enjoy maximum flexibility, whether theyre on stage, recording or rehearsing. Players can utilize the external speaker out or EFX loop, while the ultra-quiet DI output is ideal for connecting into the PA system with excellent control and tone. The MAX 300 also features a built-in chromatic tuner with mute, a tuned and ported enclosure, 1/8 headphone output and 1/8 auxiliary input, as well as XLR direct output with ground lift.
