Peavey Electronics Announces Transfer of ReValver Guitar Amplifier Modeling Software to Audio Media Research

Peavey Electronics and Audio Media Research (AMR) have entered into an agreement under which AMR will acquire the ReValver guitar amplifier modeling software line from Peavey Electronics.

In December 2019, AMR will launch the ReValver line with an updated version of the flagship ReValver product, as well as new additions to the ReValver line that will once again bring entirely new innovations to the guitar amp modeling software market.

We at AMR are thrilled to get the opportunity to continue and further the legacy of the ReValver amp modeling line, said Scott Mire, COO of Audio Media Research. Time and time again, ReValver has raised the bar for what is possible in guitar amp modeling software, and AMR intends to continue this tradition. The innovations that will be introduced in the new ReValver line will give guitarists an unprecedented array of sonic tools at their fingertips.

Audio Media Research was originally founded by Hartley Peavey as a research and development branch of Peavey Electronics. Today, AMR lives on as a stand-alone entity focused on audio software, digital signal processing, and forward looking projects of all kinds.
