Big sound from a little box
Overall

What is your opinion of this product?

This thing must be really hard to get. It took many phone calls and a lot of waiting to get it. What comes out of this little box is amazing. I play an alembic bass thru it and I get all the entwistle sounds. What you get for the price is really a bargain. For a basement or living room or even in an intimate gig it’s perfect. I tried out some other name amps and this was far and away the best in its class. Looking for a great little amp that won’t break the bank then look no further. You just have to be patient because I don’t think peavey can crank them out fast enough to meet the demand for them.

I love power and this thing's got it

What is your opinion of this product?

I totally love my amp, I usually run it on about a quarter. Lots of bass, little bit of treble, all the power I need to practice and to go to gigs with. They constantly tell me to turn it down, has a lot of thump and I like that!!! PS I also own a vintage Peavey century amp from way back when.

Exceeded my expectations

What is your opinion of this product?

This amp has exceeded my expectations. It is very light weight and packs a lot of power in a small configuration. There are several nice features that are not found in this price range. Peavey is a quality product and hope to continue to use and purchase their products in the future.

Matt McGee

Subject: Xlr
Discussion: Is the xlr output post or pregain? I don't want my amp controls to change house signal. Thank you! Matt. Peavey response: The volume knob controls the amount of the preamp signal allowed to the power amp section of this unit. So yes, it affects the signal.

Subject: max 100 bass amp footswitch
Discussion: How do I set the footswitch to toggle overdrive instead of mute? Peavey Response: Manually engaging the overdrive on the amp will allow you to toggle back and forth.
