Description

Featuring an all tube preamp and power amp, the 6505 MH authentically produces the much loved tones of the legendary Peavey 6505 in a small, portable package.

The 6505 MH Mini Head has two channels that follow the same gain structure and voicing of its big brother! The channels share EQ, lush reverb and an effects loop. Channels, crunch, effects loop and reverb are all footswitchable.

T.S.I. tube monitoring constantly lets you know that your power tubes are in good shape, and if not, which ones need to be replaced.

The back panel of the 6505 MH is full of modern technology, including Peavey's exclusive MSDI output, USB recording output, headphone output, speaker defeat switch, plus a built-in power attenuator!

Driving the 6505 MH are three 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes and dual EL84 power tubes. Whether you’re playing clean arpeggios or chugging palm mutes with full distortion, the 6505 MH delivers the dynamic punch and tactile response you only get from tubes.

NO SPEAKER CAB REQUIRED

Most amps need a speaker cabinet connected at all times, but the 6505 MH’s switchable dummy load lets you operate it without one. Defeat the speaker output for silent practice and recording sessions, no external load box required.

MSDI OUTPUT FOR STUDIO-QUALITY TONE

Peavey’s Microphone Simulated Direct Output emulates the sound of a microphone placed three inches from the speaker cone. Connect the USB output to your computer, and you’re ready to record studio-quality amp tones direct to your DAW — no microphone required.

Onboard and Footswitchable Reverb and Effects Loop

Use the onboard reverb to add spacious ambience to your tone, or integrate your favorite effects and processors with the effects loop. Reverb and Effects Loop are also footswitchable.
